Canley Heights RSL & Sporting Club Limited is seeking an experienced WHS Officer / Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator to manage workplace safety, compliance, workers compensation, and injury management across our busy club operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Work Health & Safety professional looking for a flexible part-time role in a supportive and community-focused environment.
About the Role
As our WHS / RTW Coordinator, you will ensure compliance with NSW WHS legislation, manage incident reporting and investigations, coordinate Return to Work programs, and drive a proactive safety culture.
You will oversee:
- WHS compliance and safety management systems
- Incident reporting, investigations & risk assessments
- Workplace inspections and WHS audits
- Workers compensation claims management
- Injury management and Return to Work programs
- WHS Committee coordination and reporting
- Policy implementation and staff training
About You
- WHS qualification (Certificate IV or higher preferred)
- Strong knowledge of NSW WHS legislation
- Experience in workers compensation & RTW coordination
- Experience conducting safety audits and investigations
- Excellent documentation and compliance skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital systems
