The origins of Canley Heights RSL & Sporting Club dates back to 1962.

On February 2nd, 1962 state officials met with 27 local Returned men, at that meeting, the local Sub-Branch was formed.

The Sub-Branch hall was opened 17th August 1974, and Club was officially opened on Sunday 18th June 1982.

This Club was constructed by the Members and stood until Saturday 25th September 1993 when the New Club-House was officially opened adjacent to the original.

By May 31, 2000 – The Club took on major renovations and tripled in volume to its current size. Plans are currently at Councils desk for a further extension to accommodate the Clubs growing popularity and Membership.
